CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR CONSULTANCY TO CONDUCT BASELINE STUDY

Consultant – BASELINE STUDY

This call is within the framework of a 36-months EU funded Voices of Youth in Cameroon for Peace (VOYCE) Project titled: “Prevention of Youth Radicalisation in the Two English Speaking Regions of Cameroon” with Women in Alternative Action (WAA) Cameroon as lead; Trauma Centre Cameroon (TCC) and the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) as co-partners.


Purpose of Baseline

The objective of the baseline study is to document the present situation of youth vulnerability resulting from the crisis in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. The result of the assessment will provide the benchmark on which any changes resulting from the interventions and achievements could be measured. The outcome will also inform any modifications that may be made in the course of project implementation in order to realize optimum achievements of results.


Qualification:

Interested candidates should:

  • Possess a Master’s degree/postgraduate diploma in the field of research, Peace Studies, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or any other relevant field of study.

  • Have at least 2 years of work experience on conflict prevention, resolution, conflict management and peacebuilding

  • Present a report of similar work done in the domain


Language Requirement

Proficiency in English
