“WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP: ACHIEVING AN EQUAL FUTURE IN A COVID-19 WORLD”
And it did come to pass that WAA Cameroon and the Advanced Medical Centre organized an open-door day under the theme: "Promoting Women's Leadership Through Gender Equality And Empowerment" prior to the commemoration of the International Women's Day with a huge success.
WAA Cameroon's doors were opened to close to 40 women, girls, men, boys and children who streamed in to learn about the organisation as well as get medical attention.
We got to interact with people with diversed views and had exchanges about WAA's key program areas and activities which include the following:

Economic Empowerment
Peace Building & Conflict Resolution
Empowering Youths For The Next Generation
Research & Documentation
Law Review
The Advanced Medical Center, a partner of WAA Cameroon was on hand for free medical attention, screening of HIV/AIDS, testing of Malaria, Diabetes, Blood Presure and pyschosocial counselling.
Commemorating the International Women's Day is all about exploring opportunities to Celebrate's Women's Leadership amidst Covid-19.
It is about supporting initiatives and empowering men and women to achieve violence free communities, and an equal future within inclusive societies.
