CALL FOR TENDER

Three calls for tender are being advertised within actions of the 36-months EU funded Voices of Youth in Cameroon for Peace (VOYCE) project currently implemented by Women in Alternative Action (WAA) Cameroon (lead), Trauma Center Cameroon (TCC) and the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) as copartners to the project.


1. FACILITATOR FOR AN INCEPTION AND PLANNING MEETING

The services of a facilitator are required to facilitate an inception and planning meeting within The VOYCE project.


a. Facilitator Deliverables

The following deliverables are expected:

  • Work with the project team and coordinator to prepare the meeting including drafting the program flow and session outlines in accordance with the project

  • Facilitate the inception and planning meeting;

  • Provide technical advice and support to participants during the meeting;

  • Submit a detail report on the implementation of the tasks assigned

b. Duration

Once selected the facilitator will be expected to execute his/her duties within four days and based on the terms of reference to be provided by WAA Cameroon

2. CONSULTANT TO DEVELOP ADVOCACY MESSAGES FOR PROJECT GADGETS

The consultant will develop advocacy materials to be printed on youth-friendly gadgets including T-shirts, flyers, stickers and notebooks. The messages should focus on calling for the return of peace in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon, highlighting the importance of peace and nation building as well as inspiring, inclusion, protection, promotion and defense of human rights.


Desirable Qualifications

  • Be a peacebuilding advocate

  • Previous experience in developing peace advocacy messages

3. CONSULTANT TO DEVELOP A TRAINING MANUAL ON “COMMUNITY CONNECTORS FOR PEACE”

“Community Connectors for Peace” (CCP) is an initiative that empowers youths with income generation skills as an alternatives to guns and violence as well as transforms youths mind-sets to become champions for peace to promote unity, co-existence and sustainable relationships in the restive communities of the North West and South West.

It is against this backdrop that the services of a consultant are needed to develop a Manual to train the “Community Connectors for Peace”


Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Community Development, Social Sciences or Business Administration

  • Previous experience working in livelihood projects

  • Previous experience conducting corporate trainings for IGA and livelihood activities
